*Witnesses: Greek word used is the same word as “martyrs.” Those who, by their death, bear witness to the truth of the Gospel.

Why hasn’t the message been preached to the entire world?
Why hasn’t the mission been accomplished?
Why haven’t more people been reached?

The enemy cannot stop the Gospel but he does attempt to impede its spread through compromise of the following:

1. The Message
2. The Messenger
3. The Mode

Compromise – “to make concessions, to put to hazard”

I. The Message
a. Galatians 1:6-10
b. In trying to become more relevant and reach the world many have compromised the message. The mission and the message cannot be separated. There is no mission without the message!

II. The Messenger
a. I Corinthians 9:27
b. I Timothy 1:18,19
c. The message needs a messenger – you affect the messenger and you affect the delivery of the message.

III. The Mode (or the Manner)
a. Luke 9:51-56
