Job 1:10 "Have
You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all
that
he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions
have increased in the land”.

Hosea 2:6 "Therefore,
behold, I will hedge up your way with thorns, And wall her in, So that
she cannot find her paths”.

Mark 12:1 “Then He began to speak to them in parables: "A
man planted a vineyard and set a
hedge around it, dug a place for the wine vat and built a tower. And he leased
it to
vinedressers and went into a far country”.

The fence of protection does two very important things:
1. Sets our boundaries of protection and living
2. Keeps the enemy outside our domain
Exodus 15: 23 Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the
waters of Marah, for
they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah.
:24 And the people complained against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink?"
:25 So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast
it
into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an
ordinance for them. And there He tested them,
:26 and said, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and
do what is
right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes,
I will
put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For
I
am the LORD who heals you."

“The Lord showed me a mental picture this week about this. He
showed me a fenced pasture. Outside the fencing were enemies who wanted
to get to me but they couldn’t because they were kept away from
me by the fence. Then, I noticed an area had been broken down. My enemies
only needed to find that broken fence line to get to me. “
