There
may not be many people around you who understand the pain your divorce
or separation has caused you.
That's the reason for DivorceCare. Facilitators, Dan and Connie Wells,
understand what you are experiencing. In DivorceCare, you'll learn how
to deal with
the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.
DivorceCare meets once a week for 13 weeks. There are two segments to each weekly session. During the first segment, the group watches a videotape on current divorce and recovery topics. These presentations teach life-changing principles about recovering from divorce. Topics cover an array of practical life issues, such as finances. In the second segment, group members discuss the videotape and then provide caring support for each other. Group members discuss ways to apply principles to their own lives, and also encourage one another through the healing process. Countless lives have been changed, healed and enabled to move on through the ministry of DivorceCare. DivorceCare meets at 5:30 pm on Sundays at New Covenant Church. Dan and Connie understand the pain of divorce and also the healing that Jesus Christ can bring to a divorced person's life.
