L.
A. Joiner L. A. Joiner was born in Waycross, Georgia, April 28, 1949. He lived there until 1968 when he joined the United States Navy and served four years traveling in this country and overseas. In 1972, he committed his life to Christ after suffering a heart attack and experiencing the healing power of God. That confrontation with the Living God ignited a spiritual awakening that launched him into full time ministry.
He studied for the ministry from 1973 until 1977, at which time he was ordained and pioneered Elbethel Church in Hazlehurst, Georgia. Since that time, he has traveled and ministered extensively here in the United States and abroad. His emphasis is establishing the Church of Jesus Christ as God originally intended it to be, a victorious church extending the Kingdom of God throughout the earth. In 1980, L. A. pioneered New Covenant Church in Valdosta, Georgia. During that time, he became recognized as having an apostolic anointing upon his life, which has led to the establishing of several churches in various states. Today he serves as Christian Alliance of Ministries Overseer, a non-profit ministry corporation he established. L. A. holds a Bachelor of Divinity degree from Zoe College of Jacksonville, Florida and is ordained by Church Foundational Network, which he helped establish with his pastor, Rev. Kenneth Sumrall. L. A. lives in Jennings, Florida with his wife Teresa. They have three adult children, Shane, Tarah and Tiffany. |
