Originally from Montana, I have happily lived in Georgia for the last 21 years. I’m married to Sarah and have 2 daughters. The Lord brought me to Valdosta in 1997. I was on New Covenant staff for 11 years, and then sent to start NorthBridge Church in Hahira. After 6 years, I became the Lead Pastor at New Covenant. I have been serving in the ministry for twenty four years and counting. My passion is to develop, train, and launch leaders into the sphere God has called them to. I love to fly fish, and do Crossfit!

I’m Chris Shelton, and I’ve been part of New Covenant Church for most of my life. I’m married to Susan Shelton and have 2 daughters, Sarabeth and Olivia. I’ve been on staff for about 10 years. My main area of focus is in the audio visual aspects of our services as well as assisting with the AV throughout our facilities. Our primary goal in the audio visual arena is to create a distraction free environment so our people can worship together and be trained to do what God has called them to do. In terms of ministry, God has called me to develop people and pour into those who are serving on our team in the church as well as outside of the church. I’m most passionate about seeing the kingdom of God advance on the earth and finding the place He has called me to do my part in that advancement. On my down time I love reading a good book and drinking freshly brewed coffee as well as hanging out with my wife and kids on our family farm.
I was born and raised in Valdosta, GA and I have called New Covenant my home church for most of my life. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Valdosta State, I have been serving with my husband in ministry for 18 years. My husband, Brinson, and I have three boys. We recently lived in Guatemala as missionaries for three years. After returning, we started LifeBridge Missions and Brinson continues to minister fulltime both stateside and abroad, and I love joining him when I can. In the summer of 2018, it was a great honor to be asked to serve New Covenant, Northbridge, and Christian Alliance of Ministries as their bookkeeper. I am an avid sports fan and love spending time with my family!
